Shipping policy
PAYMENT
We accept the following forms of payment: Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Euro/Mastercard, American Express, and Maestro.
All transactions are processed securely through Shopify Payments. Payment will be charged at the time of purchase once your order has been confirmed.
Your payment information is encrypted and handled securely. We do not store or have access to your credit card details.
If your payment cannot be processed, your order will not be completed, and you will be notified immediately.

ORDER
Please check your order and delivery details before purchasing. You will receive an order confirmation by email.

SOLD OUT
As our pieces are produced in limited editions, sold-out items are rarely restocked. You are welcome to contact us at studio@joriishansen.com for bespoke or similar requests.
SHIPPING
We offer free shipping in Denmark on all orders and free shipping within the EU on orders of €950 or more.
EU shipping rates for orders below €950:
DKK 125: Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden.
DKK 150: Austria, Czechia, Finland and France.
DKK 205: Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.
DKK 299: Greece and Malta.
The delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
All orders are shipped securely with DHL or GLS.
DENMARK: 2–4 business days
EUROPE: 3–7 business days
USA & REST OF THE WORLD: 7–10 business days
DELIVERY
Delivery times are estimates. You will receive a tracking link when your order is dispatched.
If your parcel is delayed, lost or damaged, contact studio@joriishansen.com.
SHIPPING TO USA
At the moment, we do not offer direct shipping to the United States through our online store.
If you are based in the U.S. and wish to purchase a piece, please contact us directly at studio@joriishansen.com with your request.
We will assist you personally and arrange the purchase and shipping details.
SHIPPING TO EU / NON-EU COUNTRIES
Orders are shipped from our Copenhagen studio with GLS or DHL. Parcels are dispatched as soon as payment has been verified.
Please allow 5–10 business days for delivery. We do not deliver to PO boxes.
In certain cases – for example, for our heart pendants – please allow an additional 3–5 business days for production, as the piece is made to order.
DUTIES AND TAXES
All prices are shown in Danish kroner (DKK) and include Danish VAT for orders within the EU.
For orders shipped outside the EU, local customs duties, import taxes, and fees may apply.
These charges are the customer’s responsibility and will not be covered or refunded by Jo Riis-Hansen.
Other shipping costs:
• Norway: DKK 250 including VAT (approx. €33)
• Rest of the world: DKK 250 including VAT (approx. €33)
GUARANTEE / WARRANTY
All Jo Riis-Hansen jewellery is covered by a two-year warranty in accordance with Danish and EU consumer protection law.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. You are entitled to have the item repaired, replaced, or—if neither is possible—a refund issued, if the product does not meet acceptable quality standards.
Repairs typically take 4–6 weeks, as each claim is carefully evaluated and handled by a trained goldsmith.
Manufacturing defects are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, improper handling, exposure to chemicals, water, or normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty.

INFORMATION ACCURACY
At Jo Riis-Hansen, we strive to provide accurate information at all times; however, human and technical errors may occur.
We are not responsible for typographical mistakes, pricing inaccuracies, availability errors, or variations in product colours due to individual screen settings.
We reserve the right to correct, change, or update website content without prior notice.
