About the Coral

The coral is harvested under strict and sustainable regulations in the Mediterranean Sea, near Torre del Greco, Italy.

Harvesting zones are rotated regularly, giving the reefs time to regenerate, and strict limits are set on how much can be collected from each area.

This practice helps preserve the coral reefs and keep them healthy.

The corals are naturally deep red, though each piece varies slightly in shade and may show tiny fine lines, unique details that add to their natural beauty.

All corals are sourced through a Danish supplier who ensures responsible collection in full compliance with current regulations.

 

Care & Durability

Coral is about as delicate (yet resilient) as pearls.

I never take mine off – you can easily sleep and even exercise while wearing it.

However, it doesn’t react well to harsh chemicals or creams with fruit acids or exfoliating ingredients.

Naturally, coral has a matte surface. The heart is polished, which gives it a glossy shine. Over time, with wear, the surface of the coral may develop a softer, matte look again.
